Wow!!! The beveled pair of custom American Holly grips with opposite screw heads arrived today and they can take my breath away.

The fit of the grips to my frame(s) is superb and the shape and size of the grips are perfect for my hand. A perfect matched set of grips for my Lone Ranger rig is what I expected and received. I finished the final assembly of the Single-Six for my grandson today. The entire gun is beautiful!

However, without your grips it just would not look nearly as good. The fit of the grips to the frame is really unbelieveable. The wood is stunning and the finish is like a mirror. Everyone who has seen it immediately asks where did I get the grips.

I cannot thank you enough. You did not just help me finish my project, you improved and enhanced my project.

the stock grips that came with my new revolver did not fit my hands very well...a bit too small of a grip with a checkered pattern that kind of had a bite when fired (not good). It was time for some new grips that were comfortable, and since I had a gold engraved revolver it wouldn't hurt if they were good looking too....I browsed around on the internet, and found your website. I immediately fell in love with the look of your grips. I made a short phone call to you, and had prompt, courteous service. It was really nice of you to work with me to get the grips I wanted. I bought your grips and as soon as they arrived I installed them. The grips fit the gun precisely....and fit my hands like a glove.......I WAS shooting 5"-6" groups @ 50 feet (.357 Ruger barrel length 4 5/8"), that was before changing to your grips. I used your grips and my grouping went to 2.5"-3.5" @ 50 feet!

Cary, your grips are not only made out of the finest woods, THEY FUNCTION AS GOOD AS THEY LOOK!! I NOW CAN SHOOT 50-100 ROUNDS IN COMPLETE COMFORT, MY GUN HAS A TOTALLY DIFFERENT FEEL NOW...IT JUST FEELS RIGHT, LOOKS RIGHT AND SHOOTS RIGHT! I JUST CAN'T SAY ENOUGH GOOD THINGS ABOUT YOUR GRIPS! Cary -- The 2 pairs of SBH grips are in my clutches now and like Heston said "those who lust after them will have difficulty prying them from my cold hands once rigor mortis sets in."

Your previous customers have used up all the common superlatives and I'm not searching Roget's thesaurus for more, so please be content with the knowledge that they're exactly what I asked for and nobody could have done it better, just like Carly Simon sang it. Who could ask for anyhthing more? Someone made that phrase into a famous song too. As Jack Benny always said, ' " Now cut that out Rochester".

See, if you live long enough everything reminds you of an old song or remembrance and that's good--not bad. A sharp mind and a lifetime of pleasant memories are what make the physical miseries of old age livable, and guns are among those strong experiences that we cherish.

Enough of the soapbox. I gave a friend who owns a gunshop a set of holly grips some time ago and he was stunned by the finish you put on my SBH set. He couldn't believe that was possible with just tru oil, so I volunteered to have you do the same thing on his if you agree. It's a full size Kimber 45ACP so no fitting is necessary--just polishing and finishing. If it's OK let me know how much for work and return shipping, I'll tell him to mail the grips and I'll send money by PayPal so you can return them to him.

I got the grips...WOW!!! They look fantastic! The light-color wood really looks amazing on stainless steel. And the beautiful high-gloss finish is flawless. When viewed from the rear, front & bottom - the grain on both panels crosses over and matches the other side. My eyes are popping out. The fit is spot-on and I like how you beveled the top of the grips where it meets the frame. No comparison to the (lack of) fit of stock panels. I'm speechless and truly happy with the grips! I got the grip frame/grips tonight when I got home and put the revolver back together, what a pain in the ass. It came apart much easier than it went together. Anyways, the grips are just beautiful and fit perfectly. What an outstanding job you did in fitting the grips to the frame, with the case heads setting the whole thing off. Thanks for the patience and time it took to get such an outcome and I am looking forward to my next set of custom grips. Cary, I received the grips yesterday. I hope the mo has found you. The grips are awesome and done very well. They fit and feel great. I am pleased. Like I mentioned before I have a 50th anniversary and a bisley I want some different grips on. I will save my pennies and give you a call. I'll probably do these in wood. I like the colt slim profile but don't see many done like this on your website. Can you slim down current grips you have for sale, or would you just make new ones? How long does this usually take if you make new ones. You mentioned wood takes quite a bit longer due to the finish.
