This is an EXHIBITION grade set of grips. They are made
from GOLD STABILIZED Spalted Maple. The stabilizing compound contains
a gold colored dye which brings out all the highlights and color in these grips.
They also have a Smooth As Glass Tru Oil finish on them. Since they are stabilized, they will never
shrink, crack, warp or do any of the common things associated with regular
wood grips.
